“LOHENGRIN”, also called the tale of the “Swan Knight”, is one of the most famous operas by Richard Wagner and which abounds with worldwide popular works such as «Nie sollst Du mich befragen» («Never ask me») or «Treulich geführt («Here comes the bride») among others.
The legend says that Grail King Percival sends his son Lohengrin to save Elsa, duchess of Brabant, who is falsely accused of killing her brother. In return, she pledges to marry her saviour. However, Lohengrin puts a condition forward : she must never ask his name or origin, as telling her means he has to leave her…
