King Curtis was a Texas rhythm & blues saxophonist who reinvented himself with “Trouble in Mind”.
Instead of tenor saxophone, he plays mainly alto.
For some tracks, he even picks up the guitar and sings.
Together with guitarists Al Casey and Mac Pierce, pianist Paul Griffin, bassist Jimmy Lewis and drummer Belton Evans, King Curtis created a flawless blues record that should not be missed in any collection!
